Steadier on files and pages made by someone else
- A folder or note someone else prepared can no longer bog the app down: unusual Obsidian .base tables and note front-matter that used to make the app work far too hard are now read in bounded time, even when crafted to be awkward.
- Clipping a web page, and opening an unusual .html or e-book file, stays quick and responsive on pages built to trip up a simple reader.
- A scanned or image-only PDF whose pages claim an enormous size is now read at a sensible resolution instead of trying to draw a giant image — the text still comes through, without the memory spike.
